PSU Education
Which international school would truly fit your child? One option to consider is early study abroad in advanced countries such as the United States. Families choose this path for many reasons: dissatisfaction with Korea’s highly competitive education system, the desire to build global competitiveness, and proactive preparation for an uncertain future. Some relocate as expatriates and naturally send their children abroad together; some even feel that a child’s success is their own success. There are, of course, many other reasons.
However, if parents cannot move together, you may have to accept the sacrifice of being separated from your child during precious years of growth, and the family may become “goose parents” living apart. Moreover, issues that existed in Korea can, overseas, turn into even larger barriers that are not easily resolved.
